In 2000 I did a voluntary repo to ford motor credit. In 2010 received some paperwork in the mail from a lawyer in Knoxville Tn that I was being sued for the car... all the events took place in Washington State and I had move right after I did the voluntary repo... so I never received and paper work on a court date are anything... I never received a notice of a sale stating what the car was sold for are anything so here it is 2019 I started getting a garnishment out of my pay check this is clearly a 19 years old what is the statue of limitations on this... they say I owe $11,000 plus $19,000 in entrance

What did you do when you received these papers? It seems you did nothing and allowed them to get a default judgment against you. Had you taken action at the time you may have been able to prevent any action against you.

You may not be able to do anything about the judgment, but you might be able to fight collection. It appears the judgment against you must be renewed after 6 years... So you will need to find out if that occurred in 2017, or at any time since it was issued. I didn't see anything in your documents about renewal. If it was not renewed you may be able to put a stop to the garnishment.

Contact the court where the judgment was issued and see what you can find out about renewal.

I contacted them with a payment plan at the time I was still unemployed and was getting unemployment and told them I can do $200 a month and they said it wasn't good enough... then when I got my taxes I offered $6000 and they said they couldn't take that... so here bout two weeks ago I offered $11,000 and they told me they wanted $19,000

You seem eager to part with your money. Make an effort to determine their ability to garnish your wages and that you have no options to stop it.

I wouldn't accept your offer either. I know you have more money than what you would offer me. I would hold out for more.

I don't have no money and at the time I was in college and unemployed and yes it will be stopped

You can talk to a bankruptcy attorney.

A chapter 7 bankruptcy will STOP any attempts to steal your wages.

I looked into it and I'm not allowed to file a 7 cause of my income

Did an attorney tell you your income disqualifies you from filing a chapter seven BK?

If not, it will cost you NOTHING but 30 minutes of your time to discuss this with a licensed attorney in your county.

Yes an attorney told me that my income disqualified me for chapter 7

Was this over the phone or did you fill out the Means Test forms that determine your eligibility?

Bankruptcy Forms

That being said, you should review (and get copies of) your lawsuit file to see if the judgment was properly renewed.

I don't see anything about that in the papers you posted. If the judgment was not properly renewed you might be able to quash the garnishment. Consult an attorney about that.
