I recently deposited a credit card check. My bank told me there would be a hold for on it for up to 3-7days. 4 days later they cleared the check and funds were available. I then sent out bills and then what happens. 11 days later after I sent out checks they said the funds were insufficient from the person that gave me the check. I got charged like $300. Plus, I was trying to deposit funds to cover the $1000 check and the $300 in fees. I went into the bank only to find out that they took monies out of my 2 daughters accounts (minor accounts) and closed my account and sent it to a Lawyer to collect still $277. Can they 1 take money from my daughters account? 2 Can they say funds are available and then say no and charge me all these fees? 3 Can they close my account and charge me lawyer fees without giving me time to deposit funds to bring my account current? thankd Sarah
