I was in a Band for a few years. We played shows in Louisiana and Mississippi. We recorded a CD ourselves and sold a few thousand copies before I left the band. Right after I left the rest of the members left except the lead singer. He found replacement band members and continued to sell our CD (atleast another 1000) and kept all the profits for himself. He has recently aquired a Record deal and the company plans to rerelease the old CD that I played the drums for. I found out about this through a fan who let me know. I was never contacted by the lead singer nor the record label. I also never signed any contract giving up my right to the music i helped create. What should I do? Do I have a right to my share of the money?
Thanks for any and all responces!
