Can an Architectural Control Committee deny a set of plans that are similar to an existing house or is it their role to ensure that the size, set backs, and materials spelled out in the covenants are followed? Thanks

I've seen many denials that are not based in law. In fact, I've seen courts in PA protect an inspector who changed his mind as often as the wind regarding design. This isn't easy to answer except that in smaller towns justice is not always easy to obtain even though you may technically be right under the law.ironhead55 said:Can an Architectural Control Committee deny a set of plans that are similar to an existing house or is it their role to ensure that the size, set backs, and materials spelled out in the covenants are followed? Thanks
