I have received a transit violation which is like a ticket that you pay $60 fine if found liable but I went for the hearing and my violation was dismissed. I am planning to apply for my green card and wanted to know if this could affect or delay my application. Should I mention that in the green card application? Can anyone tell me if this is relevant and will be found if they do a background check? I mean, I know it was dismissed and all but I hear different people say different things. Could someone please answer my question. I will be grateful.
