I was just wondering if anyone is familiar with the EEOC. They have accepted my discrimination complaint against a previous employer yet they said that it would take about 10 months for them to do anything due to a high volume of cases they are currently working on. I have spoken with an attorney who wishes to represent me in this matter. I have heard of this right to sue letter and I asked my attorney if he needed me to get that and he said no he can proceed without it. So does anyone know if I should retain the attorney to make quick resolve of this matter and spend money or should I wait for the EEOC?
