I wish to respond to the summons I received by filing my answer with the local court in which the summons and complaint were filed. Is there a specific form I need to fill out. I do not have money to pay an attorney and this is about a possible foreclosure on a house.
Thank-you.

Actually the clerk will not "direct you from there". The clerk will likely tell you to consult an attorney. You can ask her if there are any similar cases and you can request a copy since it is public record. Then you can copy the form.

While you must reply within the time limit, I suggest that you set up an appointment with the lender's attorney and try to work something out. There are some programs now available to assist people in danger of losing their homes.
