My wife and I recently sold a pop up camper through an on-line auction type of site. The buyer came to the house, looked it over and decided to purchase it. We did a title transfer and a few days later I received a call that the buyer wanted to swap the title back to us which included us giving his money back because of issues he experienced with the camper. We were honest and upfront with him about some potential problems that he may experience with the camper, as we did while using it. Other problems that arose, such as a leaking issue in the roof, we never experienced. Are we liable for what we sold, when it was in an "as is" condition and honestly never had the leaking issue that he is now experiencing? Is there reason to worry of a potential lawsuit?
