Hello , i'm currently in the process of getting my citizenship, i've been a permanent resident for 5 years now, i'm trying to bring my stepfather from Ecuador to live with me here in arizona, i know i would have to wait until my citizenship goes throught, but the issue that i have is that my stepfather is not with my mom anymore, they divorced about 1 year ago, he had a work visa like 10 years ago but he never renewed it, i was reading the INS website and it seems that there is no way i could help him out to come here because he is not an inmidiate family member, my question is, is there any other way that i could help him to come here to stay.??

Thank you very much in advance for your response

Did he ever adopt you? If yes then you can. If he did not adopt you, you can't bring him unless by trying to invite him as you would with any other friend or family member. You can't bring him here on a GC. Your mum would get it with any of her dependents below 21.
