1.ok, it is legal for a 21 year old born in 1986, to have sexual relations with a 17 year old who was born in 1989.......too many websites are confusing me and the 2 year gap thing is not exactly found in the Penal code...I need some clarity. I have been looking into this for quite some time I would appriciate any help............(added later) to clarify.....I know that it is considered to be 17, but if a 17 year old commits a crime, then in texas they can be tried as an adult, so why not 17 be the age of consent period? I need to know...bottom line...no grey area...the answer to this 2-3 year difference question and I hope this can be the thread everyone can go to to finnaly get the answer.
