I need a legal advice..
If I had a case of battery and assault that have been dismissed.Can this affect my entrance to USA ?
Knowing that I am a master student and I want to travel to my home for two weeks and return back to my university. I am on J1 visa which will expire may 31, 2017 along with my DS form.

These days the immigration laws are being discussed in Congress, and subject to changes.

I suggest you speak to an immigration lawyer ASAP.
Without retaining counsel, you might find yourself locked out of the US upon your attempt to reenter.

You should also consult with the department at the university you attend for additional guidance.
