Overstay, Illegal Status ***adjustment Of Status****

I got married a couple of months ago to a US CITIZEN, I am 19 years old and my husband is 8 years older than me, I am aware that I can go through a process called adjustment of status but I am wondering if my husband could get in trouble because we started dating when I was a minor (17 years old) without his knowledge, he thought I was 18. If I go through this process can my husband get in trouble?

What dose it matter when you started dating him? What matters is you are now married and would like to change status, some people get married after being with each other after weeks.

Funny though, My wife and I have been a couple since the age of 15 we got married at 18 and are still together today and that has been years!!! I am not eight years older by the way I am only eight months older and most of the couples we have known over the years that did things in the so called "correct manner" are now separated, so who knows what is right and what is wrong.
