ok, my sister is serving 18 months in Alderson for embezzling money from SSI recipients for her own use, my question is Her appeal is coming up on August 1st and I was just wondering if it will be granted? She thought she was going to get house-arrest/probation but the judge gave her 18 months in prison, she has medical problems and they are not giving her the meds she needs and making her work 8 hours a day even though she herself was getting SSI disability and she thinks that they will grant her appeal and she will be home very shortly(she has been there since June 1st)
