Abandoned items

I am a tenant and I previsouly had a 'friend' stay with me for a little. Well, this person left and left their belongings here. How long do I have to wait to discard of the belongings? It's been over 2 months.

Have you contacted the owner and asked them about items?

i have no way of contacting them, last i knew they were living on the streets. And last i talked to them they had no intention of getting them any time soon. I spoke to a friend of his recently and they said, as well, that he has no intention.
