I live in a rental property. A tree from there property broke from a wind storm and fell on my car. The management company says they are not responsible for moving the tree off my car nor any damages. Is this correct?

In addition:
There is a rotted branch on the tree, but not the specific branch that fell on my car. There is some minor rotting in the base of the branch (this branch is about a foot in diameter). I called my insurance provider and made a claim. The insurance company quoted that they will send an agen in 24 to 48 hours. I don't want to touch that tree until I get someone to look at it.

Hopefully you have comprehensive insurance with a low deductible. The property owner would only be responsible if they had been negligent in some manner. They are not responsible for an "Act of God" occurence.
