Just recieved my first ticket on my bike going 68 in a 45 in Fayetteville, NC. Ive reviewed most of the other threads and have recieved much needed information (thanks). I was driving down a 4 lane road and didnt feel like 68, my speedometer is off, and was pulled over.
questions:
1) tickets on bikes and vehicles all the same?
2) I am not sure if I qaulify for prayer for judgement, is there a way to check?
3) Is the traffic school option the same as the prayer for judgement?
4) Is hiring a lawyer worth the money, extremely short on money and obviously things dont seem to be getting better.
5) I see the advice to speak with the DA before hand, does the DA have time set aside for this? does this ever get on the DA's nerves people trying to skip ahead court dates?
6) HOW DO PEOPLE DO IT? (talk themselves out of tickets) just curious, everyone I talk to always have stories on how they get out of tickets all the time! I try to be respectful, they are doing there jobs but never had such luck, haha :no:
