I'm 18 years old and recently recieved a ticket for 51 mph in a 25 mph School Zone. It is my first offense on a spotless driving record.
I've heard that in most Georgia courts, the judge will drop the charge 3-5 mph in exchange for a guilty plea. Is there anyway to specifically ask for a reduction of at least 4 mph?
Also, I have never been in a traffic court situation, and have no idea what will happen. I've read that 4 points against a driver under 21 years old will result in suspension of the license. Right now, one of the most important things in my life is being able to drive the 30 miles to school and back, so even if my license is suspended, would I be able to request a conditional license?
