I received a ticket on Monday for going 116 mph in Victorville on the way to Vegas at around 12:00am. This is my first driving offense since I started driving in 2004 meaning I have a clear record with NO offenses on my record what so ever. The officer asked me to get out of my car and told me he will try and decide if he should take me to Jail. He opted for just writing me a ticket and also informed me that I may get my License suspended for 30 days. No one else was on the road. I am a college student living nearly 100 miles away from my home and I will have no other means to get to school or work if my license gets suspended.

I am wondering if I will have my license suspended and what would the maximum fine be? Also is there a possibility of getting probation if this is my first offense?
