2 Marriages, no divorces

I married Husband #1 in Oklahoma City, OK - January, 1985. (he is my sons father). I left when my son was 1. I have only had contact with him once, about 4 years later (1989), said he was wanting to remarry, and was filing for divorce., February, 1999 I married husband #2 in Kansas City, KS and that ended in September 2001. I have recently been in contact with husband #1 and asked him if he ever filed for divorce, he said "no". So i am now married to 2 men, is the second one even valid since I am still married to the first, and what is the best way to go about doing this. I can't contact husband #2, He was abusive, and I had a restraining order against him at one point.

Marriage #2 is void, and you can get it annulled in court. Talk to a family lawyer about it. Husband #2 will need to be informed of the court proceedings.
