i need advice, i am trying to help a long time friend who has just been told that his driver's linsense is being taken away an he needs to go to an assisted living home. i am trying to find a place for him. he has been separted for over 15 years. he is still able to make some discisions about his care. my question is since pa. has no legal separation, what is his wife's obligations finacially. he has just enough money to go into a assisted living home. is retired from military and will be able to apply for aid and attendance after he is in the home. but is there were to be finacial problems would she still be finacially responsible for his nursing home needs should it come to that. he has tricare for life which covers his medical bill. i really need to know. i do no plan on signing anything to make me responsible for any bills thank you.
