I thought I would describe the poster as to allow for a better answer. There are rows of the exact same flowers (15 by 6). Each image is computer generated. Under each flower there is a color and a specific instance of the color. For example, Frosty Rain and Pansy (in French).

I am interested in reproducing a poster. From my understanding it would not be legal to make an exact reproduction even if the poster does not state that it is copyright protected. But, what degree can I borrow from the poster without infringing on copyright laws, in terms of the design/format...
