    If I pay this civil demand will they still continue to send letters for more money, cause I have heard they may still ask for more. Or will it be a good possibility the incident is settled and forgot about.

    Recently involved in a shoplifting incident. Was approached and gave merchandise back with no issue. Was about 25-26 dollars. No cops were involved and was first time offense. Just gave drivers license for information. Was told because was first time offense may not be fined but to look out for...
