Actually, I don't believe it's profiling - in over 30 years I have never gotten out of any Walmart in any state without showing my receipt.

Failing grades from 5 years ago should not affect your loans at your new school.
If you've exceeded the maximum cumulative limit for an undergraduate. having those grades removed won't help you.

I disagree, Jack. If the parents split custody 50/50, it would not be unusual for the parent earning more to pay support to the parent earning less, IMHO
Yes, the rules could vary state to state, and possibly the sister's income won't be counted. Because they are related, it could very well be. Best for the two to know what to expect.
It's been my experience, working with college/university students with such insurance, that all income for all persons living in the home must be included, related or not.

A quick internet search shows that work study students are not eligible for unemployment benefits in MA. You may indeed be required to repay what you received, as you might not have earned enough income from your gig work to qualify.
If the relative gets deported there is no reason she can't take her children with her.
If your girlfriend doesn't report this, she can count on her SS# being used again and possibly by several people.
