    15 and pregnant

To answer your question, your parents cannot force you to abort. Be aware that, in PA, abortions are (currently) legal to 24 weeks (5.5-6 mos). That said... (sorry, non-legal stuff coming, but important stuff anyway...) You need to think seriously about how you see this playing out. Marrying...

Got pulled over for the 1st time going 101 MPH in a 70 MPH on a FL highway, summoned to court

I just want to say how refreshing it is for someone to own up to what they did. AND be polite about it!

You don't seem to understand - the horse is out of the barn. He's dead and can't confirm or deny what his intentions were wrt your relationship. It's too late.

    Jury Duty Questions

I have been lucky enough to serve several times. (actually, almost got onto the Night Stalker jury - not sure that would have been lucky...) It's a fascinating process and one well worth being a part of. LOL My Mom was called at ~85, and that was easy to get her out of. My Dad would've fought...

Mentally Ill Death Row Inmate Gouged Out His Eyes, Now Seeks Clemency

This will likely not be a popular comment, but, in some ways, the only peace this man can hope to have is death. It won't be justice, but it will be peace. If he hasn't received appropriate treatment at this point? He's unlikely to ever get it.

Mentally Ill Death Row Inmate Gouged Out His Eyes, Now Seeks Clemency

I agree that this man never had a chance, and that is very sad. At this point, there really is no justice that will be served. That said..... I'm not certain I agree with this position. Treatments for mental illness have improved vastly since the days of shock treatments and lobotomies. The...

Do I have the right to bring my kids back to our home state?

:( I was thinking more along the lines of - if these two kids aren't aware? Dad shouldn't clue them in.

Other Criminal Charges & Offenses Requesting that a prosecutor motion to set aside a conviction?

Honestly, a reasonable person, when confronted by LE (armed and in uniform) would operate on the reasonable assumption that they are actually LE, rather than think "Oh, maybe you're just *saying* you're LE" and trying to disarm them. I'd ask a CO to get you on the list for the prisoner therapist.

Does it constitute as abandonment if a husband fails to return from a trip abroad?

Especially since, reading between lines, they seem to be the wife's kids, not the husband's.
