Does this law apply to probation periods?

They can't dock your pay if you are indeed exempt. They can charge it against future PTO.

Working full time hours but still receiving part time benefits

How many employees in this company? Frankly, other than discriminating against you for protective reasons (race, religion, etc. ..), employers are allowed to treat employees differently. There's no obligation to extend PTO/vacation etc... on the same basis to everybody absent something else...

    Who owns/inherits the house?

The thing that messes up the life estate idea is the "if he were to sell the house, he divides..." that's a bit oddly worded for a life estate. It could however mean that he has a life estate and he and the other siblings are remaindermen and all would be willing to sell if the son was.

    Who owns/inherits the house?

In the case of joint ownership (with survivorship), it's a paperwork issue to remove the deceased from the chain of title and vest full ownership in the surviving tenant. A will transfers NOTHING itself. It's just guidance the probate court follows when settling the estate. Note as you've...

California Law / Small Estate Affidavit / Trust

No. If the property was in a revocable trust, it's still in the taxable estate as if she held it personally at her death. It counts toward the $150,000, even though it doesn't pass through the probate process itself.

    Restrictions on License

The other exception is certain things that are subject to a compulsory license. If you write a song that is used to produce a phonorecord (which includes everything from CDs to digital streaming these days), others are permitted to use your song for their own records provided they pay you the...

Validity of spendthrift provision in a last will and testament [Colorado]

Once an estate distributes an asset via a will, it's generally very hard to control what happens to it. A spendthrift clause in a will therefore mostly is used to deal with beneficiaries transferring rights to other parties before they are paid out. A spendthrift trust on the other hand, is...

File an appeal complaint in PA

The poster is using proper terminology. When there is an appeal of a justice court (small claims) case in Pennsylvania, the original plaintiff needs to restate the claim in a "Complaint" within 20 days. If you don't do this, the entire case is dismissed. Now that you're in common pleas, I...

new homeowner not on loan but supposedly on the deed

Verify what? If you want to know what the ownership is, you'd best have a proper title search done. This won't necessarily tell you if you are the hook for a loan. You only got that if you signed a contract obligating yourself to that. You should remember what you signed.

bengal cats proof of ownership with not tica papers

Cats do not have titles and TICA is only a genetic registry. Best you're likely to get is a bill of sale or purchase contract.

Other Criminal Procedure Case law affect on Probable Cause

I asked one of the local magistrates (who issues the warrants in my state) how often they turn down warrant requests. The answer was if they're completed properly, never. It almost never is the case that he believes the probable cause isn't there. Usually, it's merely a correctable...

California Law / Small Estate Affidavit / Trust

While the living trust allows the distribution of the estate without probate, it doesn't immunize the trust assets from being used to pay the surviving debts of the deceased.
