Must dealerships issue a repo order in order to take my car?

That doesn't sound like breaching the peace. Breaching the peace means they have to enter a locked area or some place they can't just walk into and drive/tow off. Not being visible means squat. Huh? The cause is you didn't pay. That's all the cause and legal process they need to follow.

    Who gets the house

Yes, people often don't seem to understand what marriage is. Trying to segregate your fiances doesn't break up the marital estate.

    Is this Show Cause frivolous?

A bar complaint won't get you out of the need to show up and court and defend yourself in the action. You're misusing the legal terms. Your ex and you were never "holders" of the note. The person who you borrowed from is the holder. Further, it's not the legal responsibility for the...

    Amazon business

The problem is that you could sue the guys if they are in the US, but a few things are working against you. First, you are likely to consume (out of pocket) more legal bills than the money you'll receive even in the best of circumstances. In this case, I can bet the guy is probably judgment...

Must dealerships issue a repo order in order to take my car?

I was referring to what he would have to pay them to get the car back, not what he could be sued for. I was addressing this statement of his, "They initially told me I must pay the full remaining balance on the car in order to get it back..."

Must dealerships issue a repo order in order to take my car?

An order is not required if they do not need to breach the peace to retrieve the car. All they need to do is send the five-day notice that you are in default and they're free to take the car. You seem to not understand what a car lease is. It's not like a monthly rental. Essentially it's...

    Is this Show Cause frivolous?

Actually, while the model itself isn't binding, Virginia has adopted most of the provisions of it, and Rule 3.1 is adopted without modification. That rule only covers how the state bar may sanction the attorney if he violtes it. What you would be looking at to cover your current...

A paralegal is NOT empowered to give legal interpretations. You should demand to speak to the attorney at his convenience. Or you can write him a letter.

Until he challenges his confinement (and maybe even longer). They have 72 days to get him in front of a judge. There's no set time on intercounty holds. He'll stay in the one jail until the other county comes to get him, they decide they don't want him, or he asserts his rights that the...

    Is this Show Cause frivolous?

As you were told on the other site, as long as the lawyer has a reason to believe that there is a legal basis for pursuing it, it is not frivolous. To be frivolous, he has to be doing it with no legal basis or for a purpose other than obtaining the decision asked for. Your first issue is...

Is there something wrong with this

Immaterial. Use or ownership is NOT an issue in possession charges. Forget about what DV says, go get an attorney right NOW. This is a felony and even misdemeanor drug charges are not to be messed with.

Well, obviously she CAN sue. But you are right, you should be able to get it dismissed. Report it to the insurance company.

    Resigned then terminated?

I've several times given notice to employers and never went FIGMO on them. In one instance I gave them almost 90 days notice I wasn't going to remain with the company but they figured 90 days (it ended up being 120 actually) work from me on the project was better than cutting me loose immediately.

    Resigned then terminated?

Of course, it's counterproductive, because people who work for such companies know not to indicate their resignation until the last day they chose to work.

I think the poster means he has a ten-year bar on admissibility. Such is what happens when you are deported. The only way he will be considered for any entrance into the US is if he gets a waiver of that bar first . The bar is only going to be lifted if you an show "extreme hardship" on...

Other Criminal Procedure Would the DOJ/FBI disclose investigation details to a reporter?

The famous case was the release naming Richard Jewell as a person of interest in the Atlanta Olympic bombing case. While Janet Reno express "regret" over what happened to Jewell, it didn't seem to break any laws or even policy, and nothing changed subsequently. Other notable FBI smears...
