When they find these oddities they communicate with the Store's LP Manager who conduct an investigation. If...

The reason you could not find an answer is because these programs vary by county. They are basically the same but you should ask your Attorny who is familar with local law

Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft accused of shoplifting at thrift st, guess I did by accident

It seems the store might have already filed a Police report if so there is not much that can be done at this time. Contact the Police and see if criminla charges have been filed. then go from there base don what your told. Admit to nothing and make no excuses only find out if a Police report was...

Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft 19, caught shoplifting from large chain drugstore, Florida.

    1. Is everything he told me true? Will my school hear about it? Will I have to go to court? Will this show up on my (otherwise clear, not even a parking ticket) record? We have no reason to believe he has lied to you. However just because the store does not notify your school does not mean they...

If convicted yes. Which again is why you should seek diversion as plea option

Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft 16, second offense.

With this being a second offense jail is a very real option. I suggest you start calling lawyers to map out a plea option/defense. In mean time I would further suggest you enroll in an anti shoplifting program. I recommend course offered by NASP.

Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft What is it?

Without knowing the dispostion of case we cannot say. If I had to guess I would say you now have a criminal record for theft

Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft I'm 17, I shoplifted, and I don't know what to do.

You didnt read far enough then. In most posts we tell users to contact Attorneys and that many offer "free" consultations. The DA has the option to try you as an adult if he/she so chooses. Whether that happens or not we cannot say. Start calling Attorneys get as many free consultations as...

Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft first offense petty larceny

So not to confuse others I moved your question to its own topic. You need to start calling lawyers, many offer free consultations. When you meet with these lawyers ask them about Diversion. This would be your best outcome outside of aquittal

If you fight charge (your right) the Prosecution can bring any and alll evidence against you. This includes video. That being said it would be wise for you see consultations with local Attorneys and when you do this ask them about Diversion as plea option
