Ok I was sentenced to 14 months in prison but with good time I did 11 months, so does that help me? And once again I appreciate the help!!

Well you don't have to go through a back ground check when you buy a muzzle loader. And that is what I was told by oyhers is that a felon can hunt with muzzle loader but nothing else.
