I moved into my new home almost 2 years ago. I received a coupon packet for remitting payments to the HOA back then as part of the welcome packet. I never remitted any payments, however, I never received any bills or notice of delinquencies from them. Today I received a notice from their attorney citing that a lien would be placed on my home if a payment is not received within 10 business days of the 2 years worth of HOA dues, late charges, 12% interest, and approximately $700 worth of attorney fees. I understand that I have to pay the dues but I would like to dispute the collections and attorney fees as they never sent me any other notices of delinquencies. Do I have a case here? If so, how would I go about it?

No, you don't. A reasonable person would expect to pay for late fees and attorney's fees for being delinquent. You don't need to have someone sending you letters to let you know that you have not paid what you, when buying the house, were told that you were responsible for.
