hopefully someone can give me a little advice. in june a agreed to a layoff at work and after receiving my first two unemployment payment's i was informed that i was not eligible since i had asked for a leave of absence.
i did Not request a leave of absence and when i went to talk with my boss he said he put that down as reason for leaving because the paperwork was not clear.
he said he would refile paper's but the time limit on appeal was past i guess so nothing happened. i said that if i was on a leave of absence i was ready to come back to work when the part timer's went back to school.
they have since given my job to a totally different part-time employee and my meager bank account is rapidly running down to nothing.
the Pa. UC website offer's plenty of help to employer's but nothing i can see that is appropos of my situation. twice i have tried to call the office's for what my option's are(if any) and have given up after nearly an hour on hold.
any advice will be GREATLY appreciated....
thank you,

Why haven't you looked into finding another job since you have indicated in your posting that you were willing to go back to work? If that is not what you want then you need to contact your former manager and have him refile the paperwork so you can refile the appeal to have your case looked into again.
