Hello from Philadelpia,
What should a release and waiver form say exactly - to protect me from liability when real estate agents and potential buyers come walking thru my door? The interior steps are in disrepair and pose a potential safety risk.
Do I even need such a form as long as I tell everyone that there are safety hazards involving the steps in my house (ie. no handrail and the steps are 200years old)?
Should I alert my homeowner's insurance company that the house is for sale and may be exposed to increased risk?
Thanks.
