I have been accused of a Probation Violation and have a hearing set. I still owe on restitution and only have 5.5 months remaining on my time. Not sure what the violation is for yet, but I would assume it was because I have another court date on a seperate matter. Altho I have not yet been convicted of anything. What are the chances of a judge terminating my probation if I paid all of my restitution in full before the hearing? It has been transferes to a ne3w judge whom I have never delt with before. I have an attorney but have yet to talk to him about it and just found this out today. Any info would be great.

Thanks

I don't think paying it off right now is going to matter much. If it were that easy, everyone would do that.

Although I have heard in some cases if you pay everything, you will be released from probation. That varies.

The problem is, with a violatioin, the court can reset the probabtion, or revoke it. Depends on the judge and the type of violation.

the violation I believe stems from the current charge that I have discussed with you earlier. There was no other violation.
