A co-worker of mine told us that when she first met her husband, he had taken her for a "joyride" in his cruiser going about 100mph with the lights on. Is this legal? I'm not sure if he was on duty, or does that matter?
Thanks

No, it's not legal. That "cruiser" is the peoples, not joe blow cops. The people allow him to use the car for official purposes only, not to take someone out, driving at such a reckless speed.

On duty, off duty, no matter. It's not a toy for his friends to play with. Someone need's to report this.

report this???? to who???? what do you think they'll do? and how would it be proven?? i think most people would agree that there are much more important things to be concerned about.

Just what we thought. We are in the process of filing a complaint, but wanted to double check. Thank you.
Interesting how it is "not-so-easy" to obtain one of those forms.

Incidentally, it was the Commander in Chief who told us to file. And actually, just the fact that this "Cop' was already told about the complaint, (his wife is blabbing all over work), is Good enough for me!
