Hi Everyone,
first time here. The problem is.. Went to dentist to get crowns top and bottoms (side). Pre-paid in full for top, as doctor requested. , then like 20 days later, started do bottoms(top was not ready yet. So, paid in full for bottom 4, all out of packet. When doc got zirconia crowns, they ware already glazed, we never tried them before, lab just made it from impressions. So, doc took it, tied it on me how it sits, and permanently cemented them without adjustment. All done in 15-20 min(because he was closing office for weekend) So, on the bottom, i have temp crowns, on top, i have zircoinia, but.. one of the zirconia tooth was long, so i could not close mouth. I had pain in my jaws all week. Next appointment i had for lower impressions. When i came, i told doc, that im in pain, bad crowns, please re do...
So, he filed about 40% of the crown, removed all glaze, not it's feels rough. Plus, they feel, like i have piece of food stuck between teeth. SO, he refused to re do, insisted that he did good job.I just left office(slam a door a bit). Next time i came, i asked for refund, including lower bridge, where he put temp crowns. My argument was:
1)he did not adjust crowns prior cementing(why procedure was not followed?)
2)didn't get me chance to try them, even on temp cement.
3)Refuse correct it
4)I told him, i came for appointment to fix something that you didnt do last time (he is one man show and overbooked)
Anyway, when i spoke to him, i audio record it. He still insist on good job, refuse refund or redo. Told me that "he knows people like me, and he didnt like me from the beginning", dont know why. Told me he does not care if i complain to Board of Dentistry. And cherry on the pie. Called me twerp (cad), I did not provoked him, i was polite. Anyway, I'm going to diff doctor to finish job, pay again out of pocket. My originally money is "hostage" in that doc office. I'am really cant return to him, knowing what he thinks about me...
