Need to know my options

I went to try out an exercise class which was free. At the end of the night they told me there was an introductory fee of $99 for one month. I explained that due to my schedule it may be difficult to do the classes. Anyway, I end up paying. The next day after looking at the schedule for the week of the classes I realize that it would not be profitable so I called them to say I wanted a refund. They said they don't do refunds.

No one explained to me that there were no refunds. I also got an email of my contract which has my digital name but someone's signature (presuming whoever did it). In other words I did not sign any document. This location is independently operated but it is a nationwide franchise.

What are my options instead of Twitter :)

No one explained to me that there were no refunds.

Why would the general rule need to be explained?

I did not sign any document.

Then you may only be out the $99.

What are my options

I suggest you review this article by the North Carolina Attorney General. If you still have questions after doing so, please ask them.

Also, if you paid the $99 by credit card, review your credit card issuer's terms about disputing a charge.

What are my options

Have a memorial service for your $99. You willingly signed up and paid. You could have said no. You should have read the schedule before signing up.

Nobody did anything wrong to you so I suggest you be careful about what you say on twitter, or anywhere else, lest you be sued for defamation.
