I was laid off on October 9 I am returning company property of a cell phone and computer however I have a company car that I parked on the ninth and haven't moved off my property it's been three weeks and they still haven't picked it up or notified me of when they're going to pick it up how long do I have to wait and can I charge a storage fee? Thanks

No, you can't charge a storage fee. How far away is the company from your home?

This could be very simple.
First you contact your former manager, HR official, etc... and inform each person that the company vehicle assigned to you is parked on your property. You then ask the official when can you expect someone to come and retrieve the vehicle.

You follow up the phone call with an email documenting the conversation and seeking guidance as to when the vehicle will be retrieved and by whom.

In the interim, you make every effort to ensure the vehicle is protected. In fact, I'd take a video of the car's condition and current mileage to document things for everyone's benefit.

Remember, honey attracts flies, vinegar repels them.
 
If the honey doesn't work within a reasonable amount of time, you bring out the vinegar, give your old boss a deadline date in writing, saying you'll report the car as abandoned and have it hauled away if it is still there beyond the deadline date.
 
How did you obtain the vehicle? Did they bring it to you?
You may have agreed at the time you got the car to how it will be returned.
As mentioned above, just call and ask what needs to be done.
 
Thank you all for the replies and advice. I Have being doing most all of what is being recommended. I will keep in touch with the HR benefits coordinator. The response has been the same, "someone will call you to setup the pickup", for three weeks now. When we move from this house I'm not interested in figuring out how to bring the car. thanks all.
 
I am sure if you inform them you are moving on a particular date and leaving the car behind they will come pick it up.
If you are moving soon I suggest you inform them in writing of your intentions
