Missing Soldier

Yes, this is very big news around these parts.

The soldier's ID Card, car keys, barracks room key, identification card and wallet were later found in the armory where she was working earlier in the day.

She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt.

Fort Hood Military Police issued a Be on the Lookout (BOLO) notice to surrounding law enforcement and an extensive search is underway by military members, as well as civilian and military police.

Pfc. Vanessa Guillen is of Hispanic descent, 5'2" tall, 126 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Everyone here would like to find the soldier, because based upon what we've learned, it has CID baffled.

However, CID has been known to play stupid when national secrets are on the line, or things are other than they appear.

Right now, I'm just hoping our soldier is found alive and well, and no other soldier(s) did something stupid or criminal.

It makes me very concerned when military personal go missing...and she is very lovely which makes me even more concerned. I figured the least I could do was post a link here and down the street...ya never know, someone who saw something may stumble across this and be able to help her.

I agree, exposure can't hurt.
With all that people are facing, this mystery doesn't help.

Hoping for a miracle for the young lass.

She is a Catholic.
A local Catholic church held a mass for her on Saturday.
People protested for her safe return, again.
The circumstances of her disappearance I find very troubling.
Her ID card, cell phone, and purse were found in the arms room where she had been working.
I'm told by one of my CID agent pals that video is being reviewed.
Fort Hood has many video cameras.
Yet, crickets chirp louder than what the public is being told.
I pray she'll be found alive.
I fear that when she is found, it'll be too late.
I've never seen this happen on any army post, base, or camp.

I am troubled by this as well. Apparently a SGT was sexually harassing her and she was too scared to report it because other soldiers who had reported that SGT were ignored.

I don't think they will find her alive. :(

I had been told about the SGT.

The only good news is that THE authorities know exactly where the SGT is located 24/7/365.

I want to believe she is alive, but life has taught me to be cynical.
