What is a driveway considered

Hi, i have a neighbor threatening to call the police to ticket and, or tow my car away because i park in front of a side gate at the back end of his house; his garage is actually on the other street adjacent to mine. He claims this side gate is a driveway even though only pedestrians can enter and exit through the gate, he cannot park a car inside. Would parking in front of this gate get me ticketed?

I would suggest that you ask the local police department for their opinion.

This is the side gate I'm speaking of

It's not a driveway. He's full of hot air. Probably wants to park there himself to get in and out of the gate.

On the other hand, if he's nuts enough to threaten you, it's probably not a good idea to park there. You never know what crazy people will do next if you piss them off.

Thanks for your input!
