Good Morning to all who read this;

On February 3rd 2019 I Reserve a hotel from Feb 5 - 12 2019 but once I get there nothing was as describe in the Expedia website.

The heater was not working, the room was dirty and smell like smoke (the smell of smoke makes me sick/ill) and the elevator was not working and I have a lot of luggage. To make thing worst the other rooms were full and I have to find another place that I could sleep at night but as you know last minute booking cost more...

My main issue is that the manager told me that Expedia will refund me since I book the hotel through them but is been 2 weeks and Expedia still can't resolve my issue and keep repeating that they tried to contact the hotel and the hotel won't respond.

I'm not the only one with this issue if you go through the Expedia website and check civic center inn (San Francisco) you can see that I'm not the only who had issue with the hotel)

I'm a veteran and never been on California my only reason to come here was to study but dealing with that hotel has mess up my plans and had kept me distracted. Tomorrow will be the second time that I could be on the streets with no place to sleep.

I just want to know what are my options cause besides having bad customer service my money was stolen by those to services.

The money I spent was $595.45 and only got a reward of 200 that I have to spent on the same website...

Stay on top of it. Research the policies of Expedia for refunds.
Make sure you do exactly what the site outlines.
You can also dispute the charge with your credit card company.
If anything, you might be on the hook for one night of rental, but certainly not the full amount.

This is assuming you did not stay at the hotel. It isn't completely clear from what I read if you found another place or not.

I only stay for 2 hours while I repack my unpack items then went to another hotel. I thought this was a good site to find info but I guess not... Hotel have to supply good living conditions to the tenant.

If you checked into the room for two hours I expect you to be on the hook for one night minimum.
You will likely get a partial refund if you go through the right procedures.
This isn't really a legal problem yet. You need to allow time for the matter to be investigated and see how it is resolved

You certainly won't get all you seem to be wanting.

I can't not even get $100 back ok I'm done someone please delete this post. I already know what to do and no thanks to this website.
