Ask for a lawyer, then say no more, talkin' won't stop you from bein' arrested, it'll just makes things more complicated.
SHUT yer yapper, and plead NOT guilty.
No one talks his or her way out of an arrest.

I was already arrested and released. That's my issue. They never took a statement from me or took pictures of my cuts and bruises.
Doesn't seem right and I can't see how I'd ever be convicted when she has no marks and I'm all beat up.

Did you say anything at all at the time? I hope not.
You'd be amazed how easy it will be to convict you if you say anything to the police.

Next time the police contact you, you say I want a lawyer. And you keep saying it until you have one. Say anything else and they've got you.
