What are the daughters of my step daughter called? Step-grand daughters (not an option on drop down menu for will prep), daughters, or should they be listed as friend on my will. Not biologically related to me, step-daughter not adopted by me.

You could use friend, or simply grandchild.

In fact, its up to you if you use stepchild, or child.

If there's an option for grand daughter use that and then refer to them by name. You need to name your beneficiaries anyway.

Once you have completed the will with whatever software you are using, print it out and retype it yourself changing grand daughters to step grand daughters but still refer to them by name.

What's wrong with referring to them as "step-granddaughters" or "daughters of my step-daughter" or not even putting a label on them at all? You mention a "drop down menu for will prep," but that simply illustrates the limitations of whatever service or software you're using. Does the service or software require that you label everyone?
