Arkansas Can I be forced to carry insurance on my adult child?

I was afraid we'd need another lawyer...another couple grand down the drain. Fantastic.

The initial visit is offered free of charge.

What you learn from a licensed attorney in your state, not strangers on the Internet, might be enough for you to handle it yourself.

But you have to get this parasite out of your lives, otherwise it'll bleed you dry.

Since my husband's work made the mistakes, they are trying to backdate the paperwork to drop her to February (open enrollment). We'll know in a week if it went thru. Everything she has filed since February, the insurance company will seek reimbursement from her alone. So basically, the daughter is fixing to get bills from doctors, pharmacies, and the insurance company. :) Thanks y'all for the help

When you hear the final answer and all that other good news coming your way, take a minute and share it with us.

We love to hear the good news people receive when they start to fight the demons that are taking their happiness, health, and wealth.

Having her on your insurance does NOT make you responsible for her medical bills, unless you sign something that specifically states that you are.

The daughter is officially dropped from our insurance!! We didn't need a lawyer, just persistence. We are not responsible for her bills, and the insurance company and doctor offices after her for payments. Finally!! ptl

Perseverance usually pays great dividends.

Good for you fighting evil money-grabbers, and ungrateful heathens.
