My husband and I got into a fight, he got physical with me and my friends called the police, I told the police I don't want to press charges and they said they don't care they have enough evidence to charge me still and so they will with or without me. Is that legal ?

You don't get to press charges. That's up to the county attorney/DA. Also expect the judge to issue a protection order if you don't.

Are they charging you or your husband? Or both?

They may have a hard case if you don't cooperate though.
