Emancipation of married 18 year old in New York

Recently through a social media snafu, I found out that my 18 year old daughter has been married to a soldier and has moved to their own residence and is working. Just 2 months ago in a child support hearing , my ex-wife and daughter both lied when questioned about said marriage and working. On the phone yesterday, my ex swears she has no clue when they were married, that my daughter works, and that my ex supports both my daughter and her husband while they live with her. To say my ex is a worker would be wrong. She says she is too sick to work and has never received any disability, just living off of my child's money that should be used for her needs. What can I do to prove my daughter is married, on her own, etc? I have copies of the facebook posts stating all of these things. Will the court consider these? Our child custody agreement states that I am to be notified of changes to my daughter;s life like getting a job, health issues etc. My ex says it is not her place to do such notifications. My daughter is now estranged from me due to the nature of her mother's lies about me. Thank you in advance for any help..

What's the age of majority in New York? If it's 18 you should've went to court and filed to have child support terminated once she turned 18. I know a few states it's 19 so just wondering why if it is 18 you didn't file for it to end sooner.

In ny it is 21 unless the father can prove that they are self sufficent, working, in the military, or married. The child and mother lied to the court 3 months ago when questioned under oath. I had no physical proof and the court took their answers as truthful.

Oh well shit - do what was suggested and go back to court presenting evidence your daughter is married. Then watch your ex sputter her way out of that one. Then file to have support ended as well.

Try locating military members here: SCRA

Try locating military dependents here: Personnel Locator

Your easiest route might be to petition the court for a change of status hearing.
Get the liars under oath, bang
I suggest you hire a lawyer, ASAP

I tried looking the soldier up to no avail. I am 99 percent sure that he is stationed at Fort Drum NY. If I send copies of the social media posts that I obtained, will the court even consider those and maybe even be compelled to request a copy of the marriage certificate from the town. I called the town and they refuse to give me the info even though my child custody papers state that I am entitled to info bout my daughter.

You're going to need a lawyer.

Your lawyer will summon the parties to court and they can be asked under oath about the things you believe you know.

So, stop wasting your time trying to DIY, hire a lawyer, end the financial pain.
