workers comp independant ime?

I was injured in 2014 and comp sent me to a ime- case still pending and then I was injured again in 2016 and they are sending me to the same ime dr that saw me for the first case---Is he independent for the second case if I saw him for the first case.

Illinois has a great workers comp system, and many wc lawyers.
You should talk to a couple and hire one.
 
There is no such thing as an "Independent" Medical Exam. Those doctors get paid by the insurance companies and their results are slanted in favor of the insurance companies, or they don't work.

If the IME results contradict your medical condition and what YOUR doctors say, and the insurance company acts against your interests, then it's time for a lawyer.

The ime actually told the truth and verified my injury's [he could not dispute the mri results. They are not disputing the first injury and lawyer is in negotiations for settlement. Only thing is -it's not fixed and comp has refused any further treatment. Lawyer no help. Then second injury-- doctor says -shoulder sprain and wrist sprain [same wrist as first accident]. I believe the wrist injury is more than a sprain. A ganglion grew there and when the boxes hit it in the second accident it became painful and now the tendon sticks and pops. Ime saw me for the first injury. They are sending me to the same Ime for the second injury. They want him to say it is from the first injury and then not fix it. Can they send me to the same Ime for 2 separate injury's. When I go do I avoid talk of the first injury. Do not have lawyer for second injury because if you get a lawyer -they stop treating your injury's.
