quick question, i bought a car with a $1000.00 rebate, the dealership had me sign a paper assigning the incentive to the dealer.
However the dealer listed to sale price higher by $1000.00 and then deducted stating that i had to pay taxes on the $1000.00.
why wouldn't the dealer pay the taxes on the $1000.00 since the cash rebate was not issued directly to me?
please help?
