Is there anyway I can check if in the retail theft database? I got caught shoplifting a year ago. My case is pending, my lawyer made a deal with the DA and things are looking good as far as my record. But I wanted to know if there was anyway I could check if I was on the database for retail theft so I can start off fresh and work for the things I need and want without having to struggle. TIA

Due to a lawsuit databases are currently not operating. However; if you are curious if the store you shoplifted from uses such a database, we have a responder on this forum who has access to that information. He will generally let you e-mail him & he will verify for you. He should come along shortly/before too long - he posts pretty much on a regular basis.

The databases are open but not really doing much until their legal teams sort through the law suit to avoid more ligation. If you email me I can tell you if the store you were caught at uses a databases and likely can tell you which one.

Which databases aren't currently doing much? Does that mean they aren't distributing information? I am curious about GIS in particular.
