I was involved in accident and the other party fault. I have the car repair but since I only have liability in my car so my insurance doesn't pay for it. The other insurance take the claim but when the body shop fax them the invoice for the bill to fix the car. They don't want to pay for it untill they have every invoice for every single part order, the body shop said it is confidential and don't want to release it. Please tell me have anyone experience something like this with Empower Insurance. And tell me how can I handle it. Thank you all.

The insurer is entitled to have an invoice detailing each part, labor costs for which they're being charged. You should get the information, too. No detailed invoice, no reimbursement. Why?

The repairs could total $5,000, but the body shop could have billed for $7,000 and given the car owner $1,000, putting the rest in their pocket. People do cheat. Insurance companies aren't gullible.

They'll pay, but it has to be substantiated and proven.

I share with you my friend's experience, this type of case was done with him. And he was claim on the insurance company, he got an insurance...
