Assault & Battery Falsely accused of simple domestic assault, what can i do?

I have a case pending against me of simple domestic assault and i will sum up the details. I recently ended a relationship with my ex girlfriend after dating a few months. We lived together for a while and i kindly asked her to leave to which she refused.I called the cops in to try and see if i can legally remove her from my home but despite her being not on the lease, they told me she had the legal right to live there.
My only option was to do an emmergency eviction and if it failed, then follow a normal procedure for eviction.
The following day when i was about to file the papers for an emmergency eviction, i had a change of heart and i thought, i should try to reason with her and maybe we could work things out.
That evening she came from work, she was not nice at all about it and i couldn't talk to her because she just was going crazy and trying hard to annoy me, she was playing loud music, smoking in the house to provoke me and my response was that when she was about to leave, i was going to lock the doors and she'd have to break in, to enter the house. She left the house.
She then called me and i didn't respond, i texted her and asked her what she wanted, she said, she wanted to come and pick her things up, i told her the door was open and i was delighted.
When she came in, she came in with a stranger, a female i have never seen her with and she sat down and blocked my entry to my room and she told me, she was not going to leave.
I have some expensive items in the house and that meant one thing, i needed her out immediately or find a way to remove her friend, i then left to see my landlord and was calling her so she can help me file papers for an eviction and then i would turn the papers in at the court house in the morning.
When i left and was calling a meeting with my landlord, my landlord did not respond, so i turned around and thought maybe i should leave my house and ask the cops to come and see what i have at my house in terms of my personal property and see if it can be secured, but when i called the police, they told me they were at my house already and that my ex girlfriend had called them and told me them, that i threatened to shoot her if she was not going to leave my premises.I thought this was rediculous and drove back home, they searched me for guns and they didn't find any and i told them this was baseless and gave them my side of the story but it ended badly, i was arrested and charged with simple domestic assault and put in jail for one night.
I'm a nursing student and have worked in a nursing home the last 5 yrs and will soon graduate as a nurse and i got a hint from my ex when i came back home from jail to take clothes from my house as part of a no contact order that she was doing this to ruin my career and my name, while the cops were there and was looking for my school books, she said "you dont have to go to school cuz you wont be a nurse" and the cop replied on my behalf, he has been charged and has not been found guilty to which she responded, he is going to jail.
I'm depressed and cant believe she would turn into such monster of a person and i'm a non violent man and i don't believe in the use of any weapon whatsoever to solve problems.
my problem is, am black and an immigrant and i have a hill to climb in a town where i have been slandered heavily online in my community.
what advice can you guys give me to beat these outrageous charges, i have come a long way and i need your advice and input and what should i do to assist my lawyer.

First of all, never use self help remedies. They always end poorly.


Now that you've been arrested, shut up. Plead not guilty and hire or ask for a court appointed lawyer.

Speak only to your lawyer about this going forward. Avoid all contact with that screaming, shebeast of a hyena you
once called a friend.

The cop gave you great advice. In this country, and arrest is not a conviction. You are innocent until proven guilty.

If you value your freedom and reputation, you'll have nothing to do with that heinous, shebeast, ever, ever again!!!

Go to court at the appointed time, plead not guilty. It sounds as if there is no evidence to support the ex's allegation. It is quite possible the DA will not file the charge and you will never have to answer to it in court.

Since this was a domestic situation, depending how the law is written in your state, the police may have felt obligated to make an arrest in order to prevent any further violence (even if non occurred to begin with). The point is to separate both parties to allow for a cool down period and for the proper court orders to be obtained so that the police have the proper tools to take action during future confrontations.
The ex can certainly request the emergency protection order, but without anything to support her accusation it will likely be denied. She may get the emergency one that lasts until a hearing is held, but if you defend against the accusations in front of a judge the order may be denied. Since it is your apartment, it may be an excellent opportunity to get a move-out order against her.
You have a mess on your hands, but be calm. The arrest means very little unless it is backed with a conviction. It doesn't sound like that is going to happen... at least not with the information you give here.

Hi i am in the uk and got married to a narcissist, skitsofrenic and suicidal woman and her mother is just the same. They have planned a master plan and repeatedly accused me of assault. She also left me so many times and comes bak after months of seperation. The plan was to leave me so she can marry some one else which was being forced upon by her mother. So they both conspired and made serious allegations. During the relationship she has injured herself by self harming and is now claiming that i did all that to her. She has pictures if bruise marks which i dont even know about. She has made a big plot to frame me to guarantee a divorce and already has took thousands of pounds worth of jewellery from me which was a family investment but now denies she has it to my divorce solicitor. My life is in such a mess. I am now facing trial soon and the police seem to be on her side because of all the graphic puctures she has shown them even though she has admitted self to police they still on her side. Its crazy and absurd. I have legal aid solicitors dealing with my case now and hopefully the jury will realise what an evil mentally disturbed girl i got married to. Shes so good at putting on fake cries and act emotionally distressed infront of police but the mins later shes back to normal. Lucky my family and me have her behaviour pattern recorded as evidence and hoping she will be cross referenced by doctors to check her mentally. Also the starement she wrote against me wasnt even her hand writing or her words. The police used very complicated and big words which she doesnt even understand to make her story look more believable. Am very shocked how the police have handled this after the amount of times she had me reported and charges were previously dropped with no further action. But now coz theres so many references to the police against me it makes me look like a monster and she looks like an innocent victim. I am deeply upset how women can get away with false allegations many times and walk away. Women like this are dangerous to society and just want to bring successful men like me down. I just wanted to share what am going through for all you innocent men out there being accused by evil women. May god help us all.

Simple, you can ask the person to allow you to return and collect them.

That usually doesn't work, so you can ask the police to meet you, and they'll stand by while you collect some of your junk. The police won't stay there hours while you pack, so gather what you can in about 15-20 minutes.

If that isn't enough, you'll have to go to court.

That takes a long time, and often doesn't get you complete satisfaction.
