Alcohol & Drugs: DUI, DWI DUI in NC moving to FL- WHat to do?

My girlfriend got a dui in North Carolina in May. That is where she lives. She was planning to move down to Florida with me in November. Will she be able to move? Can she transfer things from North Carolina regarding the sentencing?
She has a lawyer but he pretty much unreachable. He advised she should stretch this out until the move but hasn't given any specific advice as to what she should do to make preparations.

She will ahve to resolve the case in N.C. If she is sentenced to any jail time she will have to serve that in N.C. If she gets a suspended sentence and or probation then she should be able to do that in FL. The judge and or her probation officer(if she is on supervised probation) will have the final say but she should be OK. When you do get in touch with her lawyer talk to him/her and let your attorney take it from there. good luck.

She needs to settle it first before she move. Well, if that DUI lawyer is really interested about your girlfriend's case, then he should come to her and do the possible solutions right away.
